More about Seth...

My name is Seth Bobbitt and I currently live in Newnan, Georgia with my wonderful wife Natalie and our two dogs, Sophie and Sally. We moved here from Trussville, Alabama in August 2008. We love Alabama but we are very happy in our new city.

There are many people that have influenced me over the years and they have helped cultivate my love for the game of baseball, specifically pitching. Playing baseball for so many years has provided me the opportunity to play with hundreds of different people and develop lifelong friendships as well. Each person has taught me something, whether it was big or small, whether it was directly about baseball or about life in general.

All of my experiences on and off the field have directly affected how I think and approach pitching. Remember….I, too, once played Little League Baseball and had my share of struggles like most do. The same goes for High School Baseball and College Baseball as well. Each level presented new challenges and new obstacles, both physical and mental, that I had to overcome if I wanted to succeed.

I achieved more than I ever thought I would but I also failed way more than I thought I would too. But each failure has taught me humility and I’ve tried my best to learn from each and every mistake. I was determined to work hard and let that take me as far as it could. No one was going to tell me that I wasn’t good enough. I was resolved to succeed and nothing was going to stand in my way.

God blessed me with the ability to throw a baseball very well and has allowed me to experience the opportunities and success that have come my way. God deserves all the credit. I simply tried to make the best of the opportunities he gave to me. Everyone has a certain level of ability that is given to them…and it’s up to them to put forth the work necessary to squeeze out every last ounce of that ability. I want to give everyone the opportunity to learn from my successes and my failures.

I am eternally grateful to all the friends and family that have supported me throughout the years. Friends and family are life’s greatest treasures here on earth so I urge you to take advantage of those relationships while you can.

I am especially grateful for my wife Natalie. She has been an unbelievable source of support and encouragement and in many, many ways I could not do what I’ve done without her.

This site is dedicated to Steve Bobbitt, my father. In August 2007 he was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a rare lung cancer linked to asbestos. He passed away on January 18, 2008. He was a wonderful, generous man who was kind-hearted and loved his friends and family greatly. He was a gospel preacher who devoted his life to serving God and others.

He worked unbelievably hard to give me every opportunity to play the game that I love so much and without him I don’t know where I’d be but I wouldn’t be here. He is my inspiration for this site and I will try to help people the way he helped so many.
